ð What is Pixel Adventures?
Pixel Adventures is a WAX blockchain game built around companion management, adventurer progression, and interconnected RPG systems. Care for your companion, build your adventurer's loadout, train masteries, craft resources, take jobs, fight enemies, clear dungeons, and trade at the market â everything feeds into a single progression loop.
The core currency is Coins, earned through gameplay and usable in the market to buy and sell resources.
ð Getting Started
- Connect your Wallet: Use WAX Cloud Wallet, Anchor, or Wombat.
- Get a Companion: You need at least one Companion NFT to start playing.
- Get some Tools: Tools are used in Care to improve your companion's attributes.
- Set Up Your Adventurer: Equip weapons, armor, and accessories on your adventurer page to prepare for Jobs, Combat, and Dungeons.
- Explore The Loop: Use Care to grow, Craft to convert resources, Jobs to earn mastery XP, Fight and Dungeon for combat rewards, and the Market to trade surplus resources for Coins.
ð Assets & Purpose
ðķ Companions
Companions have 4 attributes that grow through Care:
- âĻ Brilliance: Discretion, charisma and swiftness.
- ðŠ Muscle: Physical strength.
- ð§ Will: Determination and focus.
- ⥠Stamina: Endurance and energy.
Each companion has a max level and specific stat multipliers. Companion attributes influence Care output and some Job checks.
ð ïļ Tools
Equipped in your loadout and used during Care to improve your companion's attributes. Each tool type targets a specific stat.
- Cleaning tools: Improve Brilliance.
- Toys: Improve Muscle.
- Sleeping tools: Improve Will.
- Food: Improves Stamina.
Tools can also be required by Jobs â certain job slots only accept specific tool types.
ð Bags
Bags are equipped on your profile and expand your inventory capacity. Some Jobs may require a specific bag type to be equipped.
âïļ Combat Equipment
Equipped on your Adventurer page â these items define your combat stats and unlock stronger fight/dungeon performance.
- Weapons: Primary damage source for fights.
- Armor: Increases your defense and survivability.
- Hats: Provide attribute bonuses.
- Rings: Provide attribute or stat bonuses.
- Boots: Provide mobility or stat bonuses.
- Accessories: Provide various passive bonuses.
Your full equipment loadout determines your power level in Jobs, Combat, and Dungeons.
ðŠĩ Resources
Resources are in-game items earned through Care, Adventures, Jobs, Combat, and Dungeons. They are used in Crafting and can be bought or sold at the Market. Key resources include materials, food types, and crafting components.
Coins are the main in-game currency, earned through selling resources at the Market or via gameplay rewards. Coins are used to buy resources at the Market.

Care for your companion using equipped tools. Caring earns resources and XP and grows your companion's attributes over time.
- Select Tools: Choose tools to boost specific companion stats.
- Companion States: Your companion has needs â matching your tool to its current state gives better results.
- Filthy: Needs Cleaning â boosts Brilliance.
- Playful: Needs Playing â boosts Muscle.
- Tired: Needs Sleep â boosts Will.
- Hungry: Needs Food â boosts Stamina.
- Resource Drops: Care sessions can yield resources used in crafting and trading.
ðē Adventures
Send your companion on exploration quests across the world map.
- Energy: Each adventure costs Action Points. APs regenerate over time.
- Choices: Face branching situations that cost or award Energy. Choose wisely based on your stats and equipment.
- Requirements: Some paths require specific items, companion stats, or equipped gear.
- Rewards: Earn XP and resources with every successful decision.
ð Lineups
Save and quickly swap between different loadout configurations.
- 6 Lineup Slots: Save up to 6 setups (1 companion + 1 bag + up to 4 tools).
- Quick Switch: Load any saved lineup instantly from the Care page.
- Strategy: Create specialized lineups for different goals â one for Brilliance training, another for resource grinding, etc.
ðšïļ Jobs
Jobs are place-based tasks you complete using your current loadout. Each job has its own set of requirements and rewards.
- Requirements: Jobs may require a specific companion, tools, bag, combat equipment, resources, or mastery level.
- Mastery: Successfully completing jobs builds mastery XP in relevant skill areas. Higher mastery improves success rates and unlocks new rewards.
- Rewards: Jobs award resources, coins, and mastery XP. Stronger loadouts and higher masteries lead to better outcomes.
âïļ Crafting
Transform raw resources into useful crafted outputs using the Craft system.
- Recipes: Each recipe requires a set of resources and may have tool, bag, or mastery requirements.
- Outputs: Crafted items can be used in further recipes, as job requirements, or sold at the Market.
- Progression: Unlocking more advanced recipes requires higher mastery levels.
âïļ Fight
Take on enemies in turn-based combat using your adventurer's equipped gear.
- Loadout Matters: Your weapons, armor, and accessories directly affect your combat power.
- Enemy Variety: Different enemies have different stats, weaknesses, and loot tables.
- Rewards: Defeating enemies earns resources and XP.
ð° Dungeons
Multi-stage RPG encounters that push your adventurer build to its limits.
- Progressive Difficulty: Dungeons have multiple floors with increasingly difficult encounters.
- Full Loadout Required: Strong weapons, armor, and accessories are essential for deep runs.
- Best Rewards: Dungeons offer the highest-tier resource and progression rewards in the game.

The in-game Market lets you buy and sell resources using Coins.
- Sell: Sell surplus resources to the market at their base value in Coins.
- Buy: Purchase resources you need at 2Ã their base value.
- Coins: Coins are the market currency. They are earned by selling resources and can be used to fill gaps in your crafting or job requirements.
- Strategy: Use the market to convert excess drops into what you actually need to progress.
ð Seasons & Leaderboard
Pixel Adventures runs competitive seasons with leaderboard rankings and rewards. Each season has a defined metric (such as mastery XP or resource contribution) and a set end date. Earn your place on the leaderboard by playing consistently throughout the season.

- Character XP: Earned through gameplay. Contributes to adventurer progression and unlocks new capabilities.
- Season Rewards: Top leaderboard players at the end of a season receive NFT and in-game rewards based on their ranking.
